My K800i died today. Switched it off, removed the battery cover and battery so I could take my sim out to put in another phone (was helping a friend out transfering data between his new and old phone but he only had 1 sim, and need2 ). I put the battery back in, without switching my phone on. When we'd transfered the stuff he wanted, I removed the battery, put the sim in, put the battery back in, and the cover. I pressed the power switch and nothing happened, I noticed the red LED flashing each time I pressed the power button. I tested my battery in my friends K800i, it was fine nearly fully charged. I tested my K800i with my friends battery and still wouldn't switch on. I guess I have the above mentioned problem. My phone is 2 months old, I don't have insurance on it. Would O2 replace it under warranty? Or is it possible to use the SEUS recovery function to get it working again, has anyone tried this? Got to say, since having a great experience using the K750i which I found very reliable, I have been less than impressed by the K800i, to the point where I am seriously considering ditching SE phones. My wife who also has a K800i, hasn't had any problems so far (it is Orange branded), but she doesn't find it as good as the K750i. Looks like SE are making shoddy phones now, which is a pity.
