I don't see why demand for P800 would be less than 7650. P800 also has foot in the same marketsegments as ipaq, palm, sony clie, etc. You never know, because it's the first device e v e r to incorporate these features.
I don't understand the color scheme though. WHY not make a mineral-grey version of it instead of that baby blue?

I hope P800 is not a dead end platformwise, so they won't have wasted the time. They could continue improving it and release new versions, smaller, with other keypads with better design, with or without camera.

I totally agree with you that Sony Ericsson should combine platforms and make the same phones for the entire world but with differences. But that process costs alot of money. Inventing and developing new things always costs alot of money. I guess that is why they are still losing money.
