check your imei number via the phone by pressing >*<<*<* then service info then configuration.

There are 2 places where the imei is stored. The one you will change will be in the GDFS and the original will still be available to anyone who wanted to see it with the right tool.
If both phone are used on the same network sooner or later they will be blocked, cloned/stolen phones issue.
Also seus will probably notice it. I would advise against.

I wouldnt change mine as i dont know how to, and i have a way to update my flashed K750i without SEUS detecting it as a k750i although i wanted to before i discovered another way to update my phone.

either way its still illegal in the UK and shouldnt be praticsed under any circumstance.
the penalties for those how chose not to abide by the laws are fairy heavy. ie 5 years in clink...
dont do it.

the thing is, i bought the w800i( i liked the black case of k750, but w800 comes with a 512 memory) had to replace the main board (through a certified dealer) cuz my phone was not fully charging (ill i got was 93%)...but after i found out that i has the k750 board i returned it back and demanded a w800 board in my phone (i told them it feels like driving a bmw with a toyota engine) i should be getting it today, otherwise, im getting a new phone
