I don't understand what you're saying.
I can download
to my phone, I can upload
to a website, or I can download
from a wapsite, but I've never downloaded
to a wapsite.
When I download files larger, yes, larger than 3KB (it is possible) I use the Halebop WAP gateway: 194.237.106.73

Korova > Thanks for the information. But I have a small problem. First of all do I need a password and/or user id to use the Halebop wap gateway? My problem is that when I try to connect it does connect but when it tries to load the page it says I have a communication error. Now obviously my network provider only allows me to download 3k and we don't have MMS out yet. Is this problem due to my network, my phone (I have R2B), etc..? I still don't fully understand gprs and how it works

, as you can see, so please be patient.Thanks for the help.

@Unibond
You don't need a password or a user ID to use the Halebop WAP gateway.
The only thing you need to change in the phone's settings is the WAP gateway you use. Don't change the GPRS settings from your network provider, they should be fine. The thing that's limiting what you can download is the WAP gateway of your network provider, not the provider itself. You will still need to use the GPRS you already have to connect to WAP, except this time you won't be going through their gateway.
If you follow the instuctions from this other thread, it should work. All you need to do is add a new WAP profile to your phone, with the Halebop IP address inserted, and then select that profile before you try to connect to WAP with your original GPRS settings. I hope this is making some sense to you, I'm not that good at explaining it well.
Here is the link to the other thread:

Despite what the guy says about it not working for him, I can guarantee you that it does work for me, and it also worked for leify98, (after following the instuctions, he sent me a private message telling me it worked perfectly). I hope it works for you too.
Any other info you need, just let me know.
