i used to have an gps "finder" (those things they use in american movies to see where is the thing) in my old ZV10, the guy stole it from me the other day the cops brought it back to me. i've also placed the gps "finder" on my k750, w800 and k800, all i do is get a leather cover and place it there.

In a way it's is your fault you lost it:
1, No Pin prevention.
2, You went ice-skating with your phone switched on?
I guess you will look back at this now when you get your new phone,
all I suggest is nextime do as what ive typed up above and you will be ok

i got my new w810i and sim from orange the women was soo sweetheart she gave me a free 512mb memory stick aw she was lovly, and orange has been very nice to me thats what i call great cusmoters serivecs and i made sure i got a pin code etc.. and back up copy

Well, I guess it'd be your own fault if your vehicle got stolen, because you left the gas in your car, and didn't put a clamp on the tires, so it can't be driven.
I never turn off my phone, save power cycling it, because I get calls all the time, and my job requires me to be available at all times. I can't afford to turn off my phone if I'm going to go do some recreational activity. Telling her that it's kind of her fault for not turning off the phone is ridiculous. And not everyone wants to block the SIM, that's not her fault either.
It's like saying that in a drive-by shooting, that it's the fault of the people who got shot. No, it's the person who committed the act. And it's the thief's fault, NOT hers.

I can really relate to you contro1 as well my K750i wasnt stolen but it fell out my pocket in a taxi and I never got it back. All of my private stuff was on there including prom pictures I never backed up onto my computer.
Im sorry for your loss and I also had to pay for another sim card from O2 which cost me 9.99.

I am a bit curious about the GPS "finder" you are writing about.
Can you describe it in more detail? Do you have a picture of it? Where do you find it? What does it cost?

I also experienced being pickpocketed. I was shopping for a car wiper in a store inside a mall and when I got out of that store my K608i is gone. I didn't feel anything in my pants pocket that I was already being pickpocketed. I was very sad because my phone was just 2 weeks old. Damn those thieves!!! I got it locked though and got a K750i for a replacement. Not a 3G phone though but it's still excellent.

yeh i would liek to know as well, would it work in a car? probbly won;t as it may have restricted distance.
