funny, because one of the biggest advantages of UIQ 3, pointed by almost everybody, is being able to run j2me middlets

Don't get me wrong - I'm not rubbishing J2ME entirely - and afterall when there is little in the way of native apps then it is an ideal "stop-gap", but *personally* if I had the choice between a native UIQ app and a J2ME app it is going to be native UIQ everytime.

i agree but right now those uiq apps dont exist, so java midlets are really handy...and i hope uiq3 devs start making apps usable fc

I answer myself after installing the 7 days evalution version.
ICQ works fine...

But I can't se myself buying it.. it doesn't contain several functions that I really need.. One of the most important is the one to see how much KB that it has used.. Want to be able to keep track of the cost!
Another function that worked in Agile before the FW-update was sending pictures from the phone. I can't see why IM hasn't made that possible!

To bad the free (when it is fixed) software is way better then IM+!
Otherwise they would have had me as a customer.

Is IM+ also works if i use it from home with wlan? Or it require a gprs-connection?

@yabba - Yes it works fine over wlan.

@joel80 - Surely you can just check in the Connetions Manager on the phone to see how much data is transferred?

I tried mig33 and it seems to be a real memory hog. Task Manager says it occupies at least 1.7MB and it made my phone reboot twice: each time was when I was entering my MSN and then Yahoo account details and this was with no other programs running.

@sleepyhead: dude, joel and i chat at the same time as doing other things such as watching streaming tv, so the connections manager is useless, as it says 254mb as an average . having it in the actual program is much more useful.

Cant get IM+ to work with wlan, and another annoying thing is that i cant have my phone in flightmode and try using wlan-connection for IM+.
I think I better wait for a working version of agile.
