I have been using a M600 now for 3 weeks and to answer some points.

Battery: significantly better than my Nokia N80, better than my Blackberry 8700, about the same as my K800. This is with bluetooth and blackberry connect nd 3G mode all ON all day.

Reliability : has not crashed once, is faster at collecting email over blackbrry than the blackberty 8700, on average 4-5 mins before it ( same network)

Sync is absolutely fine.

I'd be overjoyed if I can get the BB Connect client to work. The ActiveSync stuff is passable, but relaly not that good. For instance, it downloads the full calendar, which has attachments. That takes up all of the storage on the device. The reset calendar cache button doesn't work until you physically remove the battery and hard boot.

On battery life, with GPRS, I get 18 hours, with 3G, maybe 10 hours. It could just be ActiveSync or the screen. I know if I use Agile Mobile, the battery just drains. Maybe I have a poor battery, but who knows.

Well I live in Dorset in the UK and I can tell you that I have absolutley no need what so ever for WiFi as there are NO WiFi hotspots in rural areas, just remember that WiFi is only useful in city's, where I am it's touch and go with 3G coverage like a lot of rural places in the UK. Sure in the major towns and city's there is some 3G coverage but as 30% or more of the population don't live in them then the M600I is made for those people who want a PDA/ phone and don't care or can't use WiFi.
Judging by the very slow speed of the spread of 3G coverage then WiFi coverage will take a ridiculous ammount of time to move into rural areas.
The only place I'll be able to use WiFi is in my house!!!
And as for a camera, well I like many others have a great digital compact - Canon Ixus - that is way better and much faster then any mobile phone camera plus it takes up to 60FPS video.
So again I could take a picture and send it via SMS but at what high cost? And how often am I really going to use it. I used the camera a lot on K750I on holiday for snaps, but if I didn't have it then no loss as I've got my Canon as the quality is WAY better and it's small enough to carry around.
I think that the W950I will sell loads when launched and I know lots of people who couldn't care less about a camera phone and I don't know anyone who has a 3G videophone, then again it costs a fortune to use that service as well.

Despite owning a M600i already, I'll probably still end up getting a W950i. Not fussed about having an all singing all video-playing iPod for now, so 4gb storage for music in a familiar form-factor will do me just fine.

Just gotta figure out which handset will be moving *sideways* in my collection!

I use the M600 for checking business emails all the time, battery life on the M600 is much better then it was on my P900 or the P910 with the same level of use. I dont need wifi GPRS suffices and as for the camera, i wouldnt use it even if it had one (just bought a 6MP IXUS ). So all in all a good phone, even though i complained about the keyboard before but i'm getting used to it now. As for the stability, this is the first device to have UIQ 3.0, there are bound to be issues at first, that's the way it is with most new platforms.

Would be nice if SE makes a new generation of the Communicam series, this time compatible w/ the new phones w/o built-in camera, like the M600 & W950! I hope SE takes this into consideration. That would make the M600 & W950 complete. The old VGA Communicams were very good. I hope they make new ones w/ at least 2.0 / 3.2mp, and optical zoom.
