I don't like smoking but its something that i do,even though i know the health risks envolved...im comfortable with it and except the consequences. ..but the way i look at it is when your time is up in this world its up,we all have to go for be it from over eating,heart decease,various forms of cancer ect....heck we could die from getting run over whilst crossing the road at any time..life is gamble anyway so why not live it up as much as you can,do what you enjoy and not having to worry about the effects of this and that....as long as you don't over do anything then things should be ok....besides i like my smokes with a drink.can't imagine otherwise.

Well, wouldn't it be better if no-one started in the first place. I seen no benefits really, and if people didn't get hooked on them, then we'd have no problem. If people enjoy them, then it's their choice. But when smokers smoke around us non-smokers, well that's when it gets annoying. Especially in places like train platforms etc.

I agree that it must be annoying for non smokers to have a smoker near them, but we have been banned from pubs, restaurants, and anywhere else we can sit and have a drink and a fag at the same time, surely we can be left alone to smoke somewhere!!!
I cant remember why I started smoking, it wasnt to follow a crowd as we had half and half, but I have been smoking for over 10 years.
I do understand how it can be a disgusting smell, for a non smoker, but seriously give us a break, we arent actually blowing it in your face!? (well I dont!?)
Sorry! Im not ranting to protect all smokers cos I agree its a stupid thing to do but everyone tells us that, so we have all switched off now and dont even hear you!

Though my teeth aren't yellow (yet), and I hope my breath isn't too bad!
As I say, I could be giving up at the end of the month, if I do I might start a thread on it if folk are interested... will need all the support and help I can get!
