Not even that 20 quid is a large sum of money, it's the principal. Don't see why you won't do a deal with the t610, think it's a good way of putting things right. After all I ended up getting the unlock code myself from Orange, only took me 9 days to get it. Won't do your reputation any harm putting things right.
