I'm with Plusnet and have been for a few years now! and they do a PAYG as I used to be on it!
Plusnet don't lie telling you their broadband is unlimited and they never have but what they allow you to do is download for free between midnight and 8am, so far this month I have downloaded 42GB and I am still within my 20GB limit!
Even if I overstep it they will email me and charge me a £/GB!
BT bought Plusnet out last year but don't let that put you off they run as an independent company and the service is still second to none!
Edit:
They still do the 1 month contract for £19.99 as I am still on it
And I get 4MB out of the possible 8MB but doesn't this change depending on where you live?

Think i may go with be unlimited, up to 24mb which is unlimited, got my mac code straight away and my account will be closed 09/04/08 at 23.30 so got until then to do it.
