What does this mean?
It means you can flash it withg a Davinci DVT file or a cid36 firmware from topsony. Then finalise with far. The USB driver is installed properly, don't worry about obex, modem drivers etc just yet.
Get the phone reflashed (with davinci; don't use SEUS at this stage), finalise it, and see if it all works. Plug it in to the cable, and Windows should then prompt for the driver install (it'll be a W800 after the flash, so will need the W800 drivers installed, the previous K750 ones will be useless).

OMG It worked
My phones charging now.. only thing is when I check phone status it remains as a K750i, but I have all the w800i software loaded on the phone now :S
and I checked I have CDA 102338/8 R5A (R1BC002- HONG KONG)
Well at least I know next time to not trust the flash plugin, as that was the main reason it bust my phone!

Why does it still say k750i though?
I found this on the firmware post, "- Prevent IMEI changes through third party tools. " Maybe thats why :S

Only SEUS will differentiate handsets based on IMEI (it has a database of which CDA was released with each IMEI), and it checks GDFS, not OTP (IMEI is also stored in OTP and this value cannot be changed without soldering in a new OTP chip).

Now that I've seen it for myself, there isn't alot much difference between the K750/W800i, just the flight mode and the mp3 player is slightly changed and the w800i firmware acts alot faster than the latest K750i firmware I found. Also I could of sworn when you start the w800i up it should give you an option to start the phone, WALKMAN and or the camera :S I think I read that somewhere, but it only gives me the walkman option or the start the phone.

you can access the camera in flight mode by locking the phone and opening the shutter. This will work until you go into the walkman. Once you have used the walkman you will need to restart before you can use Camera in flight mode again.
On R1N035 firmware, you can go into the walkman and still use the camera (by locking the keypad)
Regarding the K750 back, I used a W810 middle plate with K750 front and back, I agree with you, I like the K750 back better than the W800 or W810 (though I did use the W810 back cover for a while)

Wicked.. I fixed that problem with it still sayin K750i..
I basically performed a full factory reset on the phone and then re flashed it.. now it came up as w800i, so I can update via SEUS as normal
