i was in cpw today(uk)guy said unlocked would be about 800 gbp!!,think he wanted to sell me the contract phone which is in the latest free mag as out now(but not in stock),page 3 ,he says vodaphone will be out very soon.

Found a pre-order vodafone contract i am happy with, i was just wondering when should i receive the phone if pre-ordered i rang the company and they said the day after official release but hen is this? Seems to be alot of dates flying around.
Also would people prefer voda or orange or are they both going to be wrecked with their own menus etc.

or what you could do is pre-order from the cpw then when its there its there which i'm sure no doubt is soon...
then phone up ur closest network from inside your closest cpw with P990i in hand... hehehe

@mlittle from what l have been reading on a different forum and a post else where on here, you need to speak to somebody in the retentions department to get the £8 per month 3g data add-on when you upgrade. Thats pretty much the only reason im gonna stay with orange if they will add it on for me, as l do use gprs quite a lot at the moment. Just hope the p990 isn't branded to high heaven! Is annoying that orange don't have a confirmed release date yet, just "sometime in september" when l've asked on numerous occasions.
