He didn't mention if that means it would be unlocked or not but I guess it should be since it is just the handset, no networks attached to it.

I just went into Argos and picked up one of the Christmas catalogues and it is definitely in there on Vodafone Pay As You Talk for £199.99 "including camera attachment" (the picture is an MCA25).
The phone is on Vodafone Smartstep, on Vodafone Live.
There is a whole page for the Vodafone live phones, but the others are all a lot more money.
I checked on their stock counter and they had none in stock (because it's not out yet?)
I also went into the Vodafone Store and they seemed to think it would be this Friday 1st. On their computer it was down as £149.99! But they didn't know whether that included the camera or not.
I just bought a T300 sim-free (which I've got now) without a camera for £199 and I've got until next Friday to get a refund.
Does anyone know for sure when it comes out like this? Or can they let me know?

After a call to Vodafone Live, it turns out that the Argos Catalogue is wrong!!
The catalogue states that "All phones on this page are Vodafone Live mobiles", but the T300 is NOT a Vodafone Live phone. It will be available on Pay As You Talk, but you cannot use the Vodafone Live services with it, so no picture messaging!! It is £199 with the camera though.
On the Orange Phones page is the same offer, but with Picture Messaging. What's Orange like, any good?
I think if Vodafone are forcing people to buy special "Vodafone Live" mobiles and none of the other networks are doing this, then it may be time for me to switch.
By the way - if anyones reading this who hasn't got a T300, it is a FANTASTIC phone!
