Hi Guys Well this is Dharmvishal from India!!! You all can call me DV.
I am the newest registered member of esato today and am having W810i with the latest firmware R4EA031. It has ravaged the Bass and mega Bass though battery life has improved! But can any one tell me when is a new FW expected for this phone or how frequently does SE launches FWs for a phone.

Hurray W810i's Mega Bass is back!!!! All you need to do is open SEUS do all routine procedures and atlast when it asks "you already have the latest software, continue anyway?" click yes/ok/continue anyway and reload the same FW your bass problem will be fixed and one more thing I have noticed is when you play video files in walkman player and if you try FF or RW the current clip it skips to next clip. Remember this isn't a new FW but SEUS has updated few bugging files in the existing FW itself and thats the reason why I mentioned that you should click continue button when SEUS software says "You already have the latest software" ok!!before few hours one more thing observed by me, that is the battery is still improved a bit even after playing lot of songs and calls the power level goes down slowly.
So w810i rules!!

Hey guys I have noticed one thing more playing walkman that is if you put your phone on full volume while playing a song p utting it on equalizer setting on Mega Bass with HPM-70 earphones the bass will be comparitively less and treble will be more compared to putting it on volume level less than 7 1/2 or full ie not more than 7. got my point??? so if you want to hear more bass then listen to a volume level 7and not more than that.

Hi,

Found a solution. When I re-ran the update it didn't work for me. I ran a master reset, the full one, (after backing up everything of course) and then ran seus again...presto I have my megabass back.

if you're into modding your phone, you can also change the w810 acoustics to make it louder. of course, you can also change other settings (camdrivers, flash themes, etc.)
