W850 is a SOLID phone. Its the first slider so dont shoot SE; I personally want to see its improvemnt/successor.
Auto Focus is a mechanical adjustment on the camera within. You can actually hear it on the K750i/W810/P990i/W800/700.
W850 pics on page 1 arent that bad, still better than any VGA that I've EVER seen (maybe K700 comes close, but its SE of course), and all Moto 1.3MP Cam pics. I agree firmware will make an improvement but nothing too profound.

to be honest i dont think the cam on this thing is toooooo bad, not as good as K750i's obviously but not as bad as people were making out.

I dont have a clue only had a K600i before and thats only got a 1.3mpx cam so obviously was worse
