Is this silver version actually out right now (i havent been to town lately and neither the o2 or carphonewarehouse websites have it listed)? I was planning on getting the original k800i but since this was announced i might as well get this one. You never know, there might also be some other little improvements as well (I've read about loads of bugs/crashes etc. so hopefully its fixed for this silver one).

For the most part bugs & fixes have been fixed on both the K790/800i Black.
The Silver - which I like to call the "Black Tie Affair" may have UNIQUE Firmware updates because of screensavers/desktop pics/ringtones/etc. Not out yet but within another 30 days we should see it shipping.
Me I'm getting the Silver first with a Crystal Case, then Black K790 both.

Silver I bet was chosen for that classic look. White seems just too pristine for the K790/800 lines. I would like it but I'm gonna purchase the K790 Bond Edition/Silver for a new handset & for nastalgic collectors piece. 2 actually.
