Onyx
managed comms bonded SDSL!
nildram
i just cant justify paying £250 a month for proper upload speeds...
think BT need to sort SDSL out and make it to the mass market.
or maybe cyco knows of another connection method that gives proper upload speeds?

I am on 24 and I am 300m from my exchange, so I currently hit about 20Mb with newsgroups. I am looking at getting my line bonded and taking it to 40Mb but il get to that maybe over the xmas period when things are alot more quiter on the work front.
Just need to master the linux box a little to do some load balancing.

Erm you already getting passed T3 speeds, T1 is somewhere between 1.5Mbps and T3 is around 3.5Mbps. So you way pass that. What you should be asking for is what the cable companies in France, Japan and loads of other Asian countries are offering..1Gbps

Not really
A leased line using either BT's network or NTL:Telewest's network is the only other way right now AFAIK. It might work out cheaper than SDSL for large companies but it's still a definate financial no-no for most domestic customers.

please don't laugh, sadly here in ghana any speed above dial-up is really kinda expensive....
so i use dial-up...
the highest i've seen it go is about 30kps... pretty poor...
but i'm sure it'll get better in the coming years....

Been on NTL's 10 mb cable since they launched it and it IS 10 mb or there abouts,for me it is anyway,and because they've been stuffin up my bills n giving me heart attacks they are doing it half price for me now for the next 6 months @ £17.50.
this gives me 1.15mb per second download from a good server,although i dont download much,to be honest i need this speed more for online gaming wiv my ps2
btw from what i can gather...
T1 = 1500 kbps
T2 = 6.312 mbps
T3 = 45 mbps
T4 = 274 mbps
