@johnex: I don't think it's posible to set it as system app Otherwise the platform security wouldn't be good for anything
And you can turn off the animations, if you select the app in the task list, switch to it and select More->Pause. Or you mean a settings so it should start at boot or not? That's a bit more complicated.

Well, the system apps are not killed by the se memory management mumbo jumbo. That is, if you open opera and there is no memory, tabu will not be closed along with the other apps. Swiss manager will also not close it. That is the only use it has really, and it will not show up in the task manager.
