Well it was obvious that it can't be done, wasn't it.

Anyone with half a brain knows that.

900 chars = 1 SEND = 3 SMS Charges

You sure you were charged by your network with 1 SMS? and what phone model that message was sent to?

Dude before nagging everyone in the forum with the answers you want to hear.... be reasonable... if you want to SEND 3 SMS in one go and ONE charge then go used the old phone dude! dont upgrade nor use any other models..

sheeesh!

Exactly!! It is the networks that set the limit!! Not the phone manufacturer. WE CAN'T MAKE IT ANYMORE SIMPLE!! YOU MUST'VE BEEN GETTING CHARGED MORE THAN ONE SMS!!

NOW GO BACK TO YOUR PLAYGROUP!!

I don't know which is dumber. This thread or the thread originator. There is no way to do it. The operators are not stupid. They spend 10 million dollars on a billing system and a guy with a Nokia thinks he has them beat. Now tell me who is dumber, the operators or the guy with the magic SMS.

SMS's are sent in th d-channel as mobile networks use ISDN V.110 protocol or V.120 protocol. They are in effect free as the d-channel is used for signaling and is always open or listening for communications data. Operators know that SMS's are a cash cow, so to the originator of this thread, get a life or give the phone back. If you want service, pay for it.

It is not about the flaming as much as it is his attitude. "Hey everyone, teach me how to get something for free". Not to mention that he has no understanding at all that there is nothing free. GSM operators spend billions with a big "B" on their networks. They need every penny and this guy has a magical Nokia that can send novels for free. Is he for real or what?

You could always send an MMS as it might work out cheaper, depending on your network and tariff.
