Here is a screenshot from my pc while using wingate. I am using 2 class 10 gprs mobiles with no EDGE ( j300i & w550i) . Earlier the max speed i could achieve was 4-6KBps. And now its around 9 - 14 KBps. And I suppose ppl coupling EDGE mobiles should see some broadband type speed.

@freworld
Thanks dude. Havent seen u at esato for a while. Think u were busy with ur exams.

@Blu
I tried bitcomet on MO thru YF. I get an avg speed of 3 KBps and its not stable. It pauses at times for several seconds. I must say that airtel is no good for p2p and torrent clients.

@jing I remember getting around 110 kbps download on Azureus without YF on MO with my 6020, but I can't remember the upload speed.

@has I tried your drivers, but they didn't work. After some searching I found a site www.ca42.com and downloaded the drivers and the pcsuite. The drivers and pcsuite install fine, but pc suite doesn't seem to detect the modem .

@hass & jing sorry guys for not updating my status. . . Had been busy for some time. . .In fact i was successfull in bridging two airtel live connections the first day itself. . . And oh my lord. . . . For the first time in my entire life flash get showed a total download speed of 37KB/s. .(from 1am to 10am) (30KB/s at peak times) and i cant believe that i am not paying a single rupee for all these. . Thanks you guys hass and jing. . . And great work jing for finding a way to bridge free airtel tricks together. . . Unfortunatly now i am left with my own fone 6630 as the w810i was my bro's. . . Right now planning to buy an edge phone for this purpose. . . . And guys i am stuck with one thing. I am only able to download one file with the first local port and the second file with the second 2nd local port. . . You know what i mean. . . I want to download one file using both the modems. . . So guys what steps should i follow in flash get. . .

@zolo and all, hey guys i got the method for downloading a single file with both the airtel live connections.
1. Create only one www proxy service in wingate in the port say.. 1988 -( my birth year ).
2. Then, under gateways, add both the dial-up connections or all the connections if you have more than 2 connections.
3. Under connections, set proxy to cascaded proxy (100.1.200.99:8080)
4. Set the wingate DNS Server to 202.56.230.5
5. Dial both the connections
6. Set flashget proxy to 127.0.0.1:1988. Now download a file with all the 10 parts. Wait for some time, you'll see that both the connections are used and u'll get the combined speed. In my next post, i'll post the way to use both the intercepter and wingate to work together, so that you can browse in down-time also with the speed of both the connections.
