W850 is a much better phone that w810....the player in w810 is almost the same than in k750 and k800 so if you want a walkman phone go for w850

I think you should also see the price difference between these two phones. here in india 3G and edge both are not launched yet and also the new firmware of 810i has snatched away that bass boom, balancing it with the battery life. Apart from this SE is not that successful with slider phones compared to Nokia so IMO W810i > w850i.

go for W810, definately the screen is sharper on W850, wich makes it seem to have better camera at first, and everything else looks good. But W810 has a better screen too, an better camera, I think the feeling is beter when you have an AF camera than a no-AF camera. As for music, the W810 is just fine, and beats many other music phones too. Cheers

All you need to do is open SEUS do all routine procedures and atlast when it asks "you already have the latest software, continue anyway?" click yes/ok/continue anyway and reload the same FW your bass problem will be fixed and one more thing I have noticed is when you play video files in walkman player and if you try FF or RW the current clip it skips to next clip. Remember this isn't a new FW but SEUS has updated few bugging files in the existing FW itself and thats the reason why I mentioned that you should click continue button when SEUS software says "You already have the latest software" ok!!before few hours one more thing observed by me, that is the battery is still improved a bit even after playing lot of songs and calls the percentage level goes slowly.
Hence W810i is back in action!!! Go gor it!!!

aight, i've already made my choice to go for the w810 unless something better comes along with the same Dimensions & specs for the phone.

The w810 is one of the most attractive phones on the market. My bud pulled out his moto V3 saying it had a bigger screen.... But look at the size difference for crying out loud!
He has to take it out of his pocket when he sits.
I forget mine is there!
Design wise and overall, w810 is definetly the phone to beat. But that is just my perspective. Nothing more.

If you're looking for a music player replacement, I think you should go w850. Its got a better walkman version compared to the w810. Otherwise...other features are more or less the same
