Tecom is the same as Belkin.
It's a matter of getting the up-to-date bluetooth software that makes your life easy. Belkin's latest download 1.2.2.16 allows for Phone -> PC file transfer, so you will have the least trouble getting it to work.

I bought mine from Aria.co.uk for about £25 (So CPW are ripping ppl off for £49.99) in Feb and they suddenly seemed 2 stop selling it a month after I bought it. Maybe I shouldve been warned off by the cheap price!
The Cyber-Blue website seems 2 have gone offline and believe me when I tell u the software is shite! Its based on that crappy company - XTND Systems software.
I absolutely hate XTND Systems after previously seeing the crap ugly slow sync software they created that was bundled with the T68i, glad 2 c that SE dumped them and chose another company for the P800 sync software!
The XTND Systems software is so confusing 2 use and the SMS sending software they supply with it, made by mobem.com, dont even seem 2 have bothered to translate the menu options in2 english! It pops up with errors all the time and takes up alot of system resources loading every damn kind of crap on startup.
It does its job of transfers from PhonePC and u can prob get it 2 work 2 connect thru ur phones GPRS etc but its a headache 2 set up!
My only hope now would be that Microsoft release that generic bluetooth driver upgrade for Windows that is mentioned everywhere ASAP and then I wouldnt need 2 use the crap software supplied. At present I just installed it on my laptop which I dont hardly use cept for bluetooth stuff.
Any1 else had the misfortune 2 buy a Cyber-Blue dongle?
Did u manage 2 get any new better upgraded software for it, as i said, the website seems 2 have dissapeared so Im at a loss

Hmm...I have just seen the new revamped Cyber-Blue website back online....Im still not convinced its for the better I mean u have 2 contact them and ask them for the new version of the XTND Blue Manager rather than them putting a link for u 2 d/l from...I would stil advise ppl 2 look elsewhere.

I just got the Belkin Bluetooth USB Adapter (FT8001 or something like that) for my Powerbook G4, and at first I was confused, because there was no software provided and all the instructions said was - "Apple will provide software" - well guess what - I plugged it in with no installations or setups or anything and the thing worked. All I had to do was run the integrated Bluetooth setup on OS X and it had my phone paired in 30 seconds. Then you just use their file transfer program - it works great! I got it for $32.99 US on eBay, by the way.

Well i dont know what make mine is,all it says on the box is Bluetooth usb,also says class 1,100 metres.
So is it a dongle or something else(i'm confused cus it dont say the word dongle anywhere),it plugs into one of the usb ports at the front and has a flashing blue light but i only had it cus my new pc does'nt have irda,it cost me 30 quid.

Dongle is just a name occasionally used for thumb sized usb devices.
£30 is cheap for a 100m BT dongle boyi
My £16 10m one is due any day now, its a BlueTake 'Btoes'
