It is also remarkable, that nokia forgot to implement a camera in front of the phone so you have to turn the phone around whenever you want to make a video call. It doesn't make any sense as you can't see who your talking too.. totally crappy.
But in ½ a year, I predict that nokia will come out with about 5 3g phones to beat the competitors.

Its the worst features 3G phone of all ! Only 4096 colour and no video conference call features.........since there's no video camera, only camera for taking pics at the back of the phone ! Pretty crap in terms of 3G phones !

a 3G phone is only a phone when it a has a camera for video calling. this nokia is not good! Z1010 and the upcomming motorola 3G are 3G phones. again nokia is bringing out junk whit an antenna

And I thought that 3G definition is based on the network that the terminal uses, ie. WCDMA. I didn't know that it is based on camera for video calling. Stupid me...

I have mentioned this phone before, and I have to repeat myself, what a lacklustre showing by Nokia.

Hell, even SE waked up and smelled the coffee when they released the Z1010, by far the most interesting 3G phone to date(too bad about the size though, but that goes for all 3G handsets).

And 380 kbps?? Is that really 3G speeds? I thought EDGE could handle that over normal networks?

Either way, I think Nokia may have gone too far when their marketing department got bigger than their R&D department, and that shows now with their latest phone releases.

Well at least some companies are more ahead technically than some others...
http://press.nokia.com/PR/200306/907555_5.html

Also SE didn't have a working version of their 3G Zwhatever in CeBit... Just a plastic one with plastic stickers for the screen. Waw. Or at least they said they had a working one, but then where was it?? Hmm

Besides, I'd like to point out that SE is still lacking any EDGE handset while Nokia already have two...

Anyway, I can agree that 6650 looks aren't the best around (euphemism), but I guess it's likely not targetted to a mass market, more to some selected users from operators i.e. friendly users or so. So who cares about the looks. The technology need to be proven first, then let's see what will happen
