Yes, I thought it was interesting because of the strategy playing out against Qualcomm. It was wise for SE and Nokia to collaborate on DVB-H so they could tackle the US market.
Still, I think its good that there is some healthy competition between the differing standards, although like has been said, the consumer will be left with less choice, so in order entice them to move from one Standard (network) to another the operators will have to have some pretty good devices on offer.
