I was with my friends in china last oct and they were selling the 4gig memory stick duo for about $20... my friends bought the 4gig but it turned out that when you put some mp3's and programs some of the songs and mp3 won't work... i also bought a 2gig sd card for $7 dollars and i found out that if i put more than 1 gig the file becomes corrupt...i suggest that if you use your memory stick for pictures and movies than get a geniune not the fakes coz they will cost you more in the long run....

@!ndy
buy from one of these sellers, they are all genuine Sony memory sticks.
It seems the ones in blue packaging are the genuine ones, as the new Sony packaging in shops in Australia is now blue, not the old gold/red colour.
But some sellers on ebay say theres are real even though they have different packaging, i cant tell if they are real though, so i just stick with blue
My brother bought one from the second listed seller, its genuine!

no problem !ndy
and they arent that expensive either.....
My brother ended up paying about $155 from USA for one from that seller (that seller still has them at same price as when my brother got a couple weeks ago), in stores here the 4gb sells for $320.
Then the other sellers start selling for $85... I showed my brother the prices and he is now a little upset at the fact that he could have saved himself $50
any way, they are the only genuine ones i can spot in ebay Australia. Hope it helps those who are looking to buy one...

I think M2 is too a complicated card to be made fake due to its micro size and advanced technology--at least for the time being. So, am I wrong?
