Well I got the K610 purely because I couldn't be bothered worrying over the joystick malfunctioning.

its easier for me to play games with a joystick.(K700). it created the problem just once( after six months of buying.). i just went to the SE service centre. now even after 15 months i dont hav any problem.( i am a heavy user of it.)
a joystick is like a mouse of my mobile.
i tried motorola l7 d-pad. it feels that i am just using a keypad. its just the issue how you keep the joystick dust free. it is much faster than a d-pad. (i think so.)

There is still the hissing issue on the W810. The K750i is a solid proven model and you just cannot go wrong with it. A direct descendant of the handset of the year T610 in 2004.

K750i is cheaper, as it's longer on the market. With this phone you'll have great value for your money.
The joystick issue is mainly a dust-problem, you could buy a protective case for your phone, to keep it free from dust (and scratches).
We have two K750i's, no problems at all
