Well to say that the T300 has "limited gamepossibilities" is not true. The Mophun engine is very good, infact the Mophun games are very good. I believe that Mophun is superior to Java when it comes to games. But on the other hand Java has the upper hand when it comes to "applications".
My complaint on the themes, was that you can't make your own themes.... that really limits the usefulness.
And my complaint about the menu structure of the Nokia was simply that the interface was fine on simple phones with limited features. No it doesn't give enough overview of the menus. You have to learn in which order the options is placed or you have to browse until you find the correct one.
And sure the reason the T300 sounds better is because it has more midi-channels, and the 7210 has better color display just because it has more colors.
I think the comparision between the 7210 and the T300 is fair. Both have poly-tones, downloadable games, lacks bluetooth and voice dialing. Feature-wise they are almost the same. The T300 doesn't have FM-radio but you can buy that as an accessory and it would still be far cheaper if you like FM radio.
And as I said before the MMS implementation on the SE phones are far superior to the Nokia.
The T28 is really slow. But the newer Ericsson phones are not slow. I think the T68 is fast enough at least with the later upgrades... in the beginning it was slow. But I can't write faster than the phone handles, and the menu scrolling is quite fast.
And the T300 isn't that big. It's not a brick... it looks big, but it isn't. I compared my mothers T300 to my T68 side by side and the T300 is not much bigger than the T68... it looks much bigger, but when you actually compare the 2 phones the size difference is very small.
And don't say that the T300 has a childish look. The 7210 does have a childish look. It's the perfect example of a phone with a childish look. The Nokia 6610 looks so much better.
And besides the T300 is half the price of the 7210...

Haha!.. i must congratulate aaronkhoo on his great car/phone comparison! a good laugh there!
Really like your point tha:t "Nokia doesnt upgrade their OS cause the Nokia-users are to dumb to manage anything else" *LOL*
Note!.. there´s still a reason why Nokia is the worldmarket leader..
And.. there´s a reason why both Sony Ericsson and Ericsson are falling companies..
Further on, there is also a reason why a lot more people chose MB over Saab =)

Another pointless thread packed up with SE-fanboys/employees trying to convince themselves and others that their T68 is still the most advanced phone on the market.... -Which anyone who's got the smallest grasp on mobil-technology can tell you is not true.
It's still a very decent handset though!

IMHO the T68 is still the best mobile phone on the market, without a doubt. But the other manufacturers are closing in, but there are still no phone that can compete with the T68.
BTW this is a Ericsson forum and people here like Ericsson phones, and they require more from their phones than the average consumer does. People here will not settle for phones which lacks the rich feature set that Ericsson phones has...

I'm not disputing the fact that the t68 is feature rich(i should know, i've owned one for almost a year), but IMHO it's lacking some of the important \"up to date\" features which doesn't make it \"the best\" phone on the market anymore....

@ Raven
I agree, it's a good phone, but the main set back is the screen.
Now that MMS is getting popular, a 256 color screen just won't do.
As someone here said, in another thread: I had my friends pic as a
caller ID on my phone, and showed it to him. He asked what a f**k
is that... Says the most about the screen.

@johan
i liked what you said about Nokia users. but if you'd re-read my post, that isn't what i said about them at all.
when did i ever deny that Nokia's the world market leader? not everyone needs a full-function phone, and that's when they can safely throw their money at a Nokia without regret. after all, a phone's basically just to talk on, isn't it? anything else's a bonus. then again, as you said, not everyone's capable of utilizing all the features of a too-advanced phone either.
you forgot to add Saab to your list of failing companies. but take note of this: Saab's customer base is almost exclusively filled with degree-holdling professionals. i certainly can't say the same for Mercedes-Benz.
@Raven
the T68 is the most advanced phone on the market? i would have thought that satellite phones that allow me to chat in Antartica and smartphones like the Handspring Treo would have overtaken it already.
@Froddan
why are we complaining about the colour screen? you sound like the Palm m130 users, cheated of a 65K-colour screen. note that this phone was brought to us a long, long time before Nokia's/Siemens'/Motorola's/Panasonic's/etc. would you expect GameBoy Advance performance on a GameBoy Colour?

This sounds just like Nokia threads I have read, they Hipe up the brand new Nokias and say they are better than the T68i, I say fine, let them, If they must compare there brand new phone to one that is a year old to convince themselves of this and say wow look how much cooler this one is. In some cases yes, The new phones have java, poly etc, but hey just wait till the follow up to this one comes out!!!
Then they will all be crying for real!!!
