1. Nokia N83 music slider similar to n80 featurewise however with 4gb flash memory and thinner.
False because the index is wrong. At CES or in April, Nokia will shown us the Nokia N81.
Nokia N75 - 4th wave of Nseries phones. 26th September 2006.
OK you and the OP are wrong I think. This rumored N83 actually was rumored since early 2006 and was proven to be the N95. Think about it this 4GB slider never came to fruition and it was rumored long before the N95 was debuted - although rumored pictures where not believed until a few months later (check out a site). 4GB HDD is for the N91, 4GB of flash is still quite expensive for a new venture - plus it will kill sales of the N91 4GB and possibly take away from the N91 8GB HDD phone because its going to be much thinner. So I hardly believe in the N83 > and I"d hate to see how bulky it can be. Remember you dont just put a HDD within a phone without a strong shell or some buffering and cushioning > EVEN if the phone has crash/knock sensor to lift the drive heads off the platter = ALL of which the N91's (both 4 & 8 GB HDD) versions have!
N75 > boy or boy! Very slim N series with stereo speakers and pop port running on OS 9.1 3RD Edition yet no FP1. Although the 6290 does have OS 9.2 3RD edition with FP1 with NO POP-PORT but USB mini-connector. This N75 should've been available at Cingular and also the USA Nokia store for months but Nokia keeps relying on Cingular's testing approvals before they'll release theirs - unlocked & unbranded.
N75 is pissing me off because the N75 is the FIRST S60 phone to have North American 3G bands 850&1900mhz (that the N80 was supposed to have, then a seperate version for and Nokia backed out). I'm also pissed because at the moment its the only S60 phone that will keep me from going to Windows Mobile platform EVEN though it doesnt have WiFi! I love S60 OS but the design of so many phones I wont settle for.
Common Nokia give us a sweet looking flip that has 2+MP cam with AutoFocus (non-OPtical zoom; unless its a liquid lens
) and WiFi heck even put GPS in it!
HTC is rumored to do this for a mid 2007 flip running on WM platform. Say what you all will about WM platform but with manufacturers like HTC their getting all the features they want (except auto focus & high quality lens'), and their making large inroads into Europe. Nokia needs to pick up the pace and stop making ridiculous phone segments that overlap too much.
N93 > perfect dedicated segment with awesome features (just to large for me)
N91 > again perfect dedicated segment wtih awesome features.
N95 > NO HOLDS BARRED device that gives it to us all. Although I like this phone I'm worried that screen will be under glorious because of the lower pixel count and higher display.
N73 > also good segment for pictures, however it overlaps into the music segment with its stereo speakers & quality. Then Nokia decides to waste money (new shell, new firmware, marketing costs) to release an N73 ME model. HUH just get it right the first time Nokia.

Anyone know what happened to the rumoured new communicators Nokia are working on?? I read on some website they would have big fold out screens etc packed with tech and be real workhorses using symbian.

A full symbian communicator would be really interesting to see. It drove me crazy, that 6680 and 9300 didnt communicate

@Mr. SE,
Sorry but Mobile Review are Wrong ,Wrong Wrong, the new communicator product will run S60 3rd Edition FP1.
It will have a 240x320 outer screen running the same view as the inside screen which will be approx 800x600. This device will be as powerful and fast as the N93 but with a full QWERTY keyboard with keys on par with the N93 which are the most solid and tactile keys i have ever used.
IMO some of Nokia's market segmentation makes a lot of sense the N93 is a Multimedia powerhouse that handles business tasks and if you need to enter large amounts of Data just add a Bluetooth Keyboard which is relatively inexpensive the Nokia original can be bought from Nokia direct for £69 delivered and is better than any built in Keypad on any device IMO.
This is possibly the most exciting full on business machine due soon IMO and the only thing that may get me to change from my N93 but somehow i doubt i will change as it will certainly be cheaper to just add the bluetooth keyboard.
