How do I flash CID49 firmware (R1EJ) to CID51 firmware (R1JC) with Wotan? DO I just choose finalize. Is is a two-step process (updating CID first then the firmware)? Do I need to restart the process myself or automatically? Thanks! Finally I just got a more expensive dial up that can connect to eagle.wotanserver.com to try wotan!

@hanugro:
Isn't it your R1GB001 already a CID 51 phone? Just run Wotan, click START and you get R1JC002. So, how's the update going?
EDIT: Ups, it must be your wife Z610i. Sorry.

Yeah I finally update my Z610 CID to 51. Now it is still downloading R1JC firmware (using Wifone from bakrie telecom-fixed CDMA). Almost 2 hours and still haven't finished. Darn it is very slow so don't buy it - talking about Wifone. I bought this after my cable internet was down because of the flood. So this is just a backup internet for me.

But it can connect to wotanserver while my faster cable internet can't. Don't know what happen as I thought the Taiwan mess has been repaired few days ago.

Anyway just connect to SEUS and still no R1JC for my K800.

2 hours? That's too long. I updated my K800i via Wotan by using Astinet ISP for only 30 minutes. 29 MB for main and 15 for secondary. Good luck, then.

@lambalisa - if you get your phone's erom updated to
CID51 you'll no longer be able to access it using phonexs, xs++
or any of the other progs we've used to mod the db2020
phones.

Just finished flashing my wife Z610 to R1JC HONGKONG. First impression, zippy performance on par with R1EJ TAIWAN. It FIX my problem of can't install apps/games from Fun&Download. Seems that few certificate needed is installed by wotan. My phone certificate is identical with K800 that only been updated by SEUS. Also little animation on outer OLED display when closing the flip.

Few other (minor) problems:

1. Forgot to enable AMR when flashing so now it does not have AMR shown in the Configuration menu. Anyone knows what the effect of this? Can this be fixed without refinalization?

2. Below the customization string at Software Info menu I got extra string 'E01W' between the firmware version and CDA region. (ie ...R1JC002 E01W HONGKONG compare with ...R1GB001 APAC on my K800 using SEUS). Why this extra string?

3. I got no Memory Stick version (in SOftware Info menu) but I can access content in my M2 card just fine. Pics, videos, themes, works OK. I can install apps/games on M2 cark just fine. Thinking about reformating the M2 card on phone.

@aremaboy: It took 2,5 hrs total with Bakrie Telecom wifone. Very slow indeed as it said 28.8kBps connection. Well I won't be using much of it unless my main cable internet fail again.

First, well done, hanugro!
I also have this 1E0W info. From Google, it is said 1E0W means '1 Error 0 (zero) Warning'. It has something to do with changing CDA string to the one we want. I am not quite sure about it, yet once it made me worried that my K800i is REJECTED by SEUS. No, I'm wrong. SEUS warmly welcomes my K800i. 1E0W may also be there as a sign that 3rd party flasher rather than SEMC original has been used to flash the phone so that SESC can simply recognize it in a second and say 'it voids the warranty, dude'. All Wotan updates have this. Even with Cruiser and SE-tool. As long as SEUS accepts the phone, it means our phone is just fine. No worry at all. Try plug the phone to SEUS and now you have ' Update now, file selected HONG KONG' option. It's normal, because R1JC is considered old by SEUS atm as the latest for SEUS is still R1GB. If you click Continue than SEUS will install R1GB again. LOL. Later when R1JC available via SEUS, you'll be prompted: ' Update not needed, Latest software already installed, Continue anyway?'
So, 1E0W means 'nothing' to end-users.

I didn't enable AMR either, but AMR still appears on my f/w info. Don't know why and what it is apart from that it is useful to make calls in low signal area. You can't do refinalization with Wotan.

My MS info is said as 'No file found'. Is that what you mean by having no MS version?
