OH MY GOD!!!! I am completely sick of all these "Do you think that it will be possible...." questions...
T68 is a great phone, but DON'T expect that SonyEricsson will keep upgrading it so that you can keep it forever...
Eventually I think they will want you to buy another phone....
Don't you think?

aw, come on.
I want my T68i to live forever, I'm going to upgrade it with wide-screen, Digital surround sound, put some wheels on to convert it onto a SegWay, while I'm at it, boost the engine add some wings.................
Oh well, lets start with a firmware upgrade.

it would be possible to have movies or anything you like over the t68i, without upgrading the hardware, but they would look just like the preview you get when using the camera. Someone could probably come up with a pc program that would transmit video over a bluetooth serial port and fake being the camera. Or go even further with a pc with a tv card and you could watch tv on it. But for the time it would take to make it, you might just as well get a portable dvd player.

so in the same way it could be done as an accessory using a compact flash card or similar and attached like the mp3 player, cept you would need some way to choose which files to play, but it's still probably doable, just pointless

Romeoendi, you think that it is not impossible because you have seen too many movies with some unreal gadgets that you believe them and you do not face the reality anymore: No one will fund something like this using for platform this phone because 1st you are not James Bond and 2nd there are/coming soon so many better devices that will need almost no modification to do what you're asking!

Who do you people think you are? Someone asks a valid question and you cuss him down and call him an idiot. Shame on you.
If someone told you a while ago that you could use your T68i as a remote control for Windows, then you'd of thought him mad. From what I've heard, Nokia are planning on bringing out a phone next year with an onboard video camera.
Who says, that SonyEricsson wont bring out an accessory that will add this functionality to their current line of phones. It is possible that any accessory they bring out will be compaitble with the T68i.
As to why would you want this... who cares. Why would you need a camera on your phone, or games, or themes, or all the toys and gimmicks we have now. Why? Because you can.
EddWo is probably correct in that you could probably play video through the T68i in the same way the camera preview screen works. Only problem is that the camera preview screen in pretty rubbish.
We'll have to wait and see.
