I think you would have more luck convicing the terrorsits to change their colour scheme, maybe to a nice salmon or something.

Vegetaleb u don't need to lie to attract people in this forum to post in this topic. U know that all political movements in Lebanon do have a color symbol so any color would represent any group & second the orange color is for the LEBANESE FREE PATRIOTIC MOVEMENT which is a leading political group & is the most cultutal and organised movement here in Leb. So if u minority, are having a problem with the color noone would even care. LOL. Sorry if it sounds rude but truth hurts ;)

There is a precedent for this already in the Car industry. The same model carries a different name in differnet markets such as the Mitsubishi Pajero 4WD vehicle. In Asia it's the Pajero, in Europe it's the Shogun because Pajero in Spanish is a rude word...

yes, but if SE stop sending orange phones to Lebanon and send another colour, SE will only offend the the majority Labanese Free Patriotic Movement!

I have a funny feeling this thread's going to turn into a bit of a flame war on Lebabese politics.
I personally find it ridiculous that something as simple as a phone colour can cause such inflamed passions. As I said before, buy a Walkman phone and reclaim the colour for what is is and take it away from a political organisation! No one party, country, company or whatever can claim sole ownership of a colour.
