If you are into light aircraft with power then this is it:

Check out the a36 (the latestest and most roomy luxurious version) and the a26. Both are setup for twin engines. the a36 comes standard with the rotax 912 engine. It will do some 138mph(260km/h) max. But both the aircraft can be ordered with the rotax 914 engine. This can take them above the 320km/h mark. All this in a safe aircraft (with a parachute for the fusalage) that will set you back about the same as a new Porsche Cayenne S. This aircraft is certified so insurance will only be expensive.
