What happens if the internet connection goes down during the actual update of the device software?
This is not a problem. Before the actual update process begins the service makes sure that everything needed is downloaded to the PC.

@Boba,all seemed ok but read on to see the outcome.

But after all this i just wasted time n money cuz n i'm still not happy wiv SE's FW,it dont matter which i use (R4E or R4D), i still have lost something,whoever said R4E has a higher mp3 volume is talkin crap,it was much lower than R4D,they also said video sound was lower,well mine sounded the same

R4E good points..

sound quality on mp3 sounds better,more bass but still nice n crisp sound wiv it,i didnt recall hearing any hiss,tho i didnt look for it.

nice n loud mp3 sound,who cares about a fractional sound quality difference if it aint loud enuff? i dont! i want it loud,if i wana screw my ears up i will make that decision myself!

cant click on any link on my web/wapsite due to the 'skipped link' errors i get.

so im having a dilemma here,i wana update my site n give u guys free mp3 tones but if i cant test it myself on my own phone then im just not willing to do it,i get these skipped link erors on my w800i (R1AA008 FW) too!

SE had better get this sorted out cuz im gettin really peed off over this,i will email them the link to this thread so they can see wot my problem is cuz im sure im not on my own wiv this.

so in the end i bought a credit for Wotan n reinstalled R4D FW bcuz i just cudnt live wiv the ever so low mp3 sound of R4E

oh n one more thing,why is it that when i use mig33,after not pressing a button for about 1 minute my alerts dont sound? is this a FW bug or wot cuz my IM+ is ok n sounds my alerts for me,i asked other ppl wiv nokia's etc n they dont have this problem,i mailed mig33 about it n i was hoping this wud be fixed in the new version,not so,maybe it is SE problem cuz its the same in R4D n R4E,its a shame cuz mig33 lets me use msn,yahoo n now aim is in the new version
