I'm probably one of the biggest hiphop fiends on Esato.

Current favourites in no particular order are:

Ghostface
MF DOOM
The Game
Jean Grae
Mos Def
Nas

@j-j......

so sorry mate, i forgot that our opinions of what the best hiphop artists are have to be the same as yours - whoops i was mistaken this was about what 'WE' individually like... can you PM a list of your favourite rappers so that i dont get it wrong next time

rant over-

dude, just give your opinion man, you dont have to rip into anyone else just because you dont believe their choices to be that great.... each to their own wouldnt you agree

i have to admit tho, whoever mentioned a tribe called quest - legend!!(and it may have been you j-j ), but seriously they were totally amazing! and Q-tip wasnt too bad on his own later in my opinion

any NWA followers here too?

@Leeboy,but you do agree he's tight hey.Rough I agree!
Lloyd Banks have a new one(Rotten Apple).Seen it 2 days ago.Not sure if I'll go for it even though his previous installment was not bad.Actually there's a few tracks I like from Hunger For More.
I also want to get my hands on Eminem Presents The Ra Mixtape!I think this is a good mixtape!

i agree mate, Guerilla Black is ok, but nothing on biggy..... thing i loved about biggy, it wasnt as much about image with him, he let his lyrics and rhymes to teh talking for them selves....

although some of his later stuff eg: sky is the limit - although i loved this song, it was more 'commercialised' than his earlier stuff whihc was just raw, rapping!

1. PAC
2. NWA/ Immortal Technique
3. Eminem

Now before you start the Eminem you are full of s**t and dont know rap music. Well i will humbly disagree because i find Rap music to be a huge part of my life. He did change the Rap scene Period.

Morning Lee lol

I'll admit i was quite tired and wound up when i wrote that, it was intended as a rant at the people on here, more at the state of HipHop (Apart from the people who like Akon, they should all be shot!)

And yes, it was me that mentioned ATCQ and they fantastic and if you like them you should check out The Roots, quite similar just more upto date
