When I press More and scroll to Wallpaper it is grayed out and wont let me select it. Is there something special you have to do to set it as the wallpaper?

I get the wallpaper option, its just not allowing me to set it as wallpaper. Initially it installed on the memory stick but I moved it over to the phone but the option is still grayed out! I have the Thwarte cert on my phone and its unbranded on the latest firmware but it still won't work!

I'm beginning to like this feature less and less now!

Try installing from the developers web site. The one from getjar seem to lack the standby attribute in the jad file.
Download it from http://wap.bermin.net instead.

Works really great as a wallpaper app on my K800i.

Cheers

Not really...M600, P990, W950 do not have the same java capabilities of k800, w850, etc, in fact they are a bit worse in that dept...so they do not have the option for putting java apps in walpaper, just like the k750, w810, etc

These are the only phones that support java has walpaper (not only from SE i think):

Quote:

Phones that support running MobyToday on the stand-by screen
All the latest Sony Ericsson supports the concept of stand-by applications. This means that MobyToday can be run as a "wallpaper" on the stand-by screen. The currently released Sony Ericsson which support stand-by applications (as well as JSR-75 and Thawte certificates) are:

Sony Ericsson
W830, W850, W880, W610, W710, K610, K800, K810, K550, K790, Z310, Z610, Z710 series.

Please note that this list of phones are expected to grow significantly since all the coming Sony Ericsson phones are expected to support Stand-by applications.
