Now it’s my turn to post

As I said in my first post, Theme Creator Pro II is in alpha phase of development. Some code will be re-used from TCPro all other is written from a "scratch" - this time in VB6.
TCPro II will use the same concept as TCPro – Theme Browser as a main window. This time you will see all screens, not only 5 as in TCPro. But there is much more...

Some new things in TCPro II:
- redesigned and enhanced Theme Browser and Theme Editor windows
- faster then TCPro and will use less resources
- the completely new TScreen II Dynamics WYSIWYG preview engine: very fast, more details, customizable (language support), animation (for example: signal strength, battery level, menu selection...)
- new color picker with customizable palettes
- you will be able to save preview pictures
- crop image function
- and more...

I hope that the first Beta 1 will be available (only for beta testers) next month. If someone really wants to test TCPro Beta versions – email me.

And if someone has some really good ideas for new features or improvements: you can post here, on TCPro’s forum or email me directly!

@cycor: the preview WYSIWYG engine use the medium text size for all previews (except for 2 screens). And font (text) size has nothing to do with themes. I have to add additional code for this and this will slow down the preview engine...

The second idea: this would be possible in the "old" version, but not in the new.
TScreen II Dynamics engine use a totally new concept and it’s made with Windows API functions for maximum speed...

It just hit me. Is the colour picker you mentioned similar to the one in Photoshop? I know its tough but to have one like that would be excellent! Also, on the right vertical navigation for picking colour tones, could you use a cursor instead of a cross? Great great work!

Great program, my favourite toy lately. Got one idea too: In TC Pro u can read html code for colours in editor. Would it be possible to add an option to enter the code manually so the desired colour appears? Cause same colors are often used for few menu items, and that would make the job faster- no more searching for the same colour on the palette again.

@jcpsad: what do you thing? But you can pay if you want -:D

@mkt: and what's wrong with copy & paste???
In TCProII you will be able to export & import and copy & paste the whole or some parts of the XML code - some sort of templates...

@ericssony: there's nothing wrong with copy&paste, i'm just saying that copy&paste in visual creator, not only after dispalying palette would be nice. But to tell u the truth, i think the program is almost perfect and can't really imagine lot of improvements u could add without making it much bigger & more complicated. I like it the way it is, but u can count on me to be one of the first to install TC II when released. The only thing i've noticed, and it's buggin me is TC Pro runs slower then all other appz on my PC (don't know, maybe i could use reinstalling the system cause my windows is pretty f***ed up )
