i can hardly imagine if there is a white k800, how comes that nobody saw or heard about it anything?

if bodum wants a white K800 I'd suggest giving up the search for the non existant original and simply go for the after market housing which he can, for sure, get today

not neccessarily. I've put various after market housings on T610, K700 and K800 for my son and not had any problems at all
I suppose if you do get a problem then simply revert to original housing and nothing is lost except a little money. but really, these days the 3rd party housings are pretty good
