Any word on which Uk network will be getting the rights?
I know its very unlikely to be vodafone, due to problems with getting the deal sorted between apple.

I assume it's going to be Orange or T-mob due to the implement of the random access voicemail, Orange are also the only network that supports EDGE and I can't see apple letting it go to a network that can't fully support it.
well not on their first product anyway.
but i think only time will tell, i just hope it's soon as i'm due for an upgrade as it is and i'm currently holding out for the iPhone but it's pointless if Orange aren't going to be getting it!

How well does it do email? How about a calendar? I'd love to see some screenshots of these apps.

It's not a smart phone, it's the first (sic) fully touch screen operated mobile phone, although quite how they get this, I'm not sure, as it has a call and hang up button below the screen, and hold buttons etc on the side.
In general, about 95% or more of the features, such as keypad, etc are all touch screen.
The UI is not anything like UIQ or Symbian that we are used to, it's something proprietary from LG, and I have to say it works very, very well, the sensitivity of the screen is awesome, and texting on the screen is easy, and mistake free, unlike the weird keypad on the W950 I am using as well at the mo, it's so easy to make a keystroke error on the W950.
The OS is fast, and efficient, and it's really a nice alternative to the Nokia 8800, type handset, good for calls and txt, and the odd other mobile activity.
