this might be a forum for guys who just joined Esato after T610 was out.

back button wasn't introduced until T610 is out.

when it was introduced...many old chap like me hate it because the C button and reject call button is doing most of the similar job and everyone is frustrated on removing the reject call button.

HOWEVER it seem SE is moving back a bit but maybe they have their recent as we only see the MMI (man machine interface) for now and now the UI in action.

I agree with your observation. There is indeed a mob who feel lost without a big red and big green button.

Maybe it is just an experiment. If it won't work they'll bring back the BACK.

Perhaps if we all email SE with the message

BRING BACK THE BACK

then they will notice us, then if they ask we we mean we tell them, then we overload them with emails saying BRING BACK THE BACK.

LOL

havent you thought a minute about this? how to remove the back button? that would make navigating through phone IMPOSSIBLE.
when you are in the file manager viewing pictures and then you want to view a movie, how would be that possible? only with a back button!
maybe they just put the back button the hang up button.
on z750 maybe there wouldn be a dedicated back button, but surely it will be a big back button on the screen since it has touchscreen

I can't see the problem at all.

The T68i didnt have a dedicated back button and worked fine. None of the Nokia's do either and they work fine!

by a dedicated button you mean a button which has a symbol on it representing "back" ? look at nokia, most phones has the back button the right soft key. that is what i call a dedicated button.

It would be great if they made all the buttons with OLED screens so they can change the writing when it needs to. That way you'd only need a few keys at the top of the phone.

Did SE change this just to make changes, to look as if they were really improving something? "If it ain't broke, fix it until it is."

Its not exactly dedicated since it has other features on the Nokia, where as the sony ericsson version is made just for going back!
