the battery on my N95 is doing fairly well actually, however I would always consider battery very low in my considerations preferring instead to concentrate on the features available.
With the size, weight and fairly reasonable cost of a spare battery these days, I would not decide against a more capable (for my needs) device based on the battery
but so far I haven't even felt the need to buy a second battery. For me, as long as I can get a full days use, with reasonable reserve, then that is all I need as I always put my stuff on charge overnight anyway and dont need to have endless days of battery longevity

I also think the n95 wins here. It's an excellent all in one device. It's interesting however to note the complaint about the cheap built quality. It's not the first time I read about this 'shortcoming' and it's really disappointing for such a phone.

yeah for what i can read here, some people are complaining about built quality and others are saying that its very good! And i saw this happen with other phones like w950 and p990. Some saying the built quality is good and others saying its crap. So the better thing to do is check for yourself cause its very subjective and it may differ from phone to phone.

Hi all,
The only other thing i would say is it does appear Nokia N series devices seem to offer much higher volume output and also have the ability for the user to modify Graphic equaliser settings or even create their own profiles.
Which i must admit i am now starting to find quite confusing as it is constantly suggested that these SE with low volumes are due to EU regulations yet the non European firmware are no better and if this was true as people are suggesting that would mean that Nokia don't abide by the same regulations as others which i some how doubt is likely or even possible. But something is very strange and makes absolutely no sense.
