I have severat MP3 files on my Sandisk 2GB M2 that are much bigger in size than 4.2 MB, the most recently file I played, for example, was 7.0 MB, and it plays perfectly fine on my K800i, so I doubt that it is the memory card that is the limitation. I would guess that it is the mp3 file itself that has some kind of problem. Is the bitrate too high? I think that the phones have an upper limit for which bitrates they can handle. Is the file in variable-bitrate MP3 format, and does your phone handle variable-bitrate MP3 files? Can the file simply be corrupted?
