I agree, it is all it's made out to be - After 5 SE's (from t68-K800) it took a while to get used to the symbian os which seemed very clunky in comparison, but looking at the k800 now, the screen seeme way too small and the speakers much too tinny.
Back to the N95 - the WiFi is a bit temperamental, but it IS there and hopefully will get better with fw updates, the GPS slow to lock on but works and can be very usefull - especially Sports Tracker (I have tomtom in car). Calender is a lot better than SE's one, music sounds fine, videos are watchable, etc, etc..
I'm even using the same case I had with my K800 for it so don't find it too big at all, and it's no biggie to charge it every night, especially as the charger plug is so portable.
As you can tell, I'm pretty impressed, and SE and even the iPhone are going to have to improve to make me give my one up.

I love the N95. I must admit, I've not used the GPS, as in my town it seems to pick up Satellites but still no signal for ages but I dont need it so much anyway.

My slider is a bit wobbley but other than that I really love it!

This phone has met and exceeded my expectations gps with the maps preinstalled works fine. Not as good as some dedicated units but has come in handy.

The wi.fi means i can download the bbc news video update in seconds before leaving for work and watch it on the train, then listen too a 1 hour dj set i also got the night before. Its all so seamless and it handles multitasking without an issue.

Having a 3.5mm socket means i can take any headphones too. Overall for something that weighs 125 odd grams i am well impressed.

9/10 (the only other phones that i have given 9 at the time of release are the T68m and the P900)

was reading an article lately, what pointed on the future of gps in mobile fones and maybe within few years, the "traditional" gps will be forced in the background, cos of the mobile fone gps solutions. n95 is the first step in this new future. of coure it still not a garmin quality, but i am sure it will be more developed soon.

I loved having the N95 for the two weeks I was testing it but really when it came to buying I opted to stay with my good old friend the K800.

I couldn't cope with it's Nokia personality traits or rather S60 traits. "Out of Memory" when I have only the gallery and video editor open is unforgivable. Particularly as you can't close gallery down to edit video! The video was 1 minute full-res and if it couldn't cope it should have said so to start with rather than let me battle on. This extends to other activities too of course. I expect the basic smartphone functions to work together without complaining about memory e.g. messaging, interweb, address book and calendar should all be able to remain open at once.

There's a lot of going around the houses to get one job done and editing a video to send as MMS is a perfect example.

The N95 is great but it's like having a swiss army knife when all you want to do is tighten up a screw.

I have done video editing opening a 14min clip from Gallery without any problem. Do you have a lot of tasks open? Press+hold the menu to check. N95 is a true multi-tasking phone unlike K800. If you dont take the time (i.e. read the manual) to understand smartphone characteristics of N95, of course you r going to face problem.

Ill stick with the K800 didnt like the N95 one bit, except the TV output Novelty feature, but otherwise it was not something I would use.

I will always agree that there is no point in paying more money for something that offers much more than you need

personally, with phones these days, I use just about every feature available... and still want more!

why do you always assume people don't know how to use a phone if they experience a problem.. face it the n95 lacks ram still despite how great it is....

i'm very happy with my n95 but do recongnize it's flaws... and lack of memory is still one of them...
