Now that's just plain annoying if you charge the phone while you sleep; there should be an option to turn it off.

I'm not sure about other countries, but Australia has switches next to our power sockets so we can turn off the power without unplugging the plug. I only just learnt that the USA doesn't have power switches!

They dont have switches???

no...americans are stupid remember

i frankly think this alert thing is going to be more annoying than useful. i keep my phone on the charger next to me on my desk so as its charging while im working. I want to run my phone off mains while i'm at my desk so that when i actually need to use the battery, theres some power in it

stupid nokia

Also in might be usefull for the charger to auto cut power once the phone is charged.

IMO,thts the best idea...i mean if your phone can do all sorts of stuffs, why not jst STOP charging when its full!

or they can make a small hydraulic mechanism to push the charger outside the phone's socket.
that way you can leave your phone over night w/o waking in the middle of the night to unplug it

Just charge it in off mode or get one of those switch things that you set and after the time has past it cuts the power.

Overall a good idea if its used the right way and not an inconvenience. although i dont know what the right way is yet.

you can do that by setting an alarm with that tone and set it at the time the battery should be charged
