i noticed that, the 980's battery was flat so couldnt see the OLED screen

would of been nice to see the screen and give the phones a wirl. oh well. the lanyard was the normal rubbery type material rather than the cloch lace style of the original. It did seem the new ones were lest wiry than the originals or maybe my imagination.
also got a bag with a nice surprise!

Thanks to those that came down today, hopefully if these 2 days go well more will happen. In terms of video quality the demo handsets are all prototypes so they still look a little rough in places. Hope more people make it down tomorrow.

just got back from the shop where I met a couple of Esato members and got my little freebie

The new lineup looks pretty good and I really do like the look and feel of the P1 but seeing the T650 in the flesh really brought back memories of the T610. I didn't think much of the slider from the pics so far but it also looks and feels very nice and reminded me so much of the recent samsungs.
All in all a worthwhile trip out

I just asked if I can go with a mate but I'm not allowed becuase of the weather. And I'm 14 so a little under age to drink, masseur.

I took a quick snap with my N95 but I had just shown one of the salesman the N95 and he tried the camera and changed some settings which I didn't know about so the pic was not good.
another member who was there took a couple so I'm sure he'll post them up later
