> sold my n95 and bought a p990i

To tell u the facts,I have read a lot about N95, no doubt it is technically a high end phone with some excellent features,however we cannot ignore the problems that the owners face,also the battery backup is a major issue.
On the other hand SE has brought the P1i as a PDA,we all know the sound quality SE has but P1i will not be marketed as a music phone,in fact its a big thing for a PDA to have a walkman player,FM Radio and a megapixal camera,these are added facilities to sort of make it a complete phone.
Remember people who use products like P1i,M600i,P990i etc are mostly businessman who would want a little fun inbetween breaks.
I guess we would like the P1i to be popular as a phone and make its mark,not to compete with anybody else.I think the P1i has a professional,serious,futuristic,and sturdy looks which will make it a bestseller

Bestseller? not so, but best symbian product? i'm pretty sure it will... Good thing that P990 is now regaining it's popularity despite the major price cuts which is good for midrange buyers like me=D. planning to get P990 as soon as R6 arrives:-D

I have both phones and cant really tell which one is the best, but I love them both. For buisness I normaly use the P990i, and for multimedia its the N95. The music player is just so brilliant, and the sound is amaizing. BUT, it should have a touchscreen, to bad it aint. Right now im wating for the P1 to drop in. I just love this kind of toys, dont you?

Bet you dont keep the p990i in your pocket while n95 fits in the pocket

realised this and made the p1 smaller(similar to m600) yet more powerful than p990i.

thnx guyz for such a positive feedback , i now feel that i made the right decision switching to the 990i and u guyz are responsible for this .the 990i browser is really gr8 opera rocks.now can some one pls help me regarding this issue " i am not able to change the radio station with the help of the button given on the headset whenever i try to change the radio stations with the help of the headset the sound gets muted and when i press that button again the sound resumes again.now is there another way of changing the preset station of the radio thru the headset am i doin something wrong pls help guyz.thnx"

I've always said that the n95 was appealing at launch but now just seems ordinary and dull. Problematic sliding mechanism being of most concern to me. Featurewise it is outstanding but I'd still pick the p990i over it anytime.
