Thats what the Islamic Law teaches.
does it not teach you to be a good Muslim and not to steal/rape/kill in the first place???
Yes but there are always idiots who go a step too far my friend. And thats the law in most Muslim countries as PK pointed out. It should be introduced here. Crime would go almost non-existant. Im sure of that.

Thats certainly true. People literally do get away with murder these days. 6 months for a drunk driving road death etc.
Makes me sick.

By the time the law get's to see these individuals, they are way beyond help anyway, the problem IMO lies with lack of parental control and guidance at an early age!!
That applies to youths of ALL religious persuasions, I'm a great believer in the "3 strikes and your out" principle of imprisonment, keeping repeat serious offenders out of the way of normal decent society.

Animal Welfare law in the UK
http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion[....]/animals/overview/latest.shtml
"Under current law, the maximum penalty for neglect and cruelty is six months in jail or a fine of £5,000"
so if someone went around killing animals this is it. pathetic imo.

I also believe that the whole new face and identity is absolute crap! Just last week a man was arrested from my very street. It appears his arrest is linked paedophilia!

keeping it to topic, what worries me is the fact the video clip is being shared as some sort of sick entertainment.
i think the school/s should get involved, and all there phones confiscated by the police as it contains criminal evidence...

Hi all,
Firstly i am quite shocked that any one would do something quite so stupid and secondly Swans are actually very tough these kids were unfortunate the Swan didn't retaliate as a Swan is more than able to break your arms or legs. I actually know of a Newfoundland dog that was massive that was pulled into a Lake and drowned by a Swan.
Unfortuantly waiting for the Police to arrive the offenders would be long gone in this day and age. As for taking action yourselves that is not always the best course of action as if you are out numbered or they are carrying knives the consequences can be disastrous.
Having said a long time ago when i saw someone that was beating a dog tied to a lamp post i did actually do an emergency stop and get out of the car to stop it. On that occasion i received a round of applause but did leave prior to the Police arriving and it was a very different world back then. Now in this day and age i am sure i would get arrested and sued for assault and have to pay damages.

@batesie
Phones as communication tools in schools are too good.
Remember the Mosquito ringtone and Happy Slapping clips that went around, impossble to police.
@Dogmann
Thats certainly true, how we've gone all legalistic on ourselves - thanks to American legal culture making its way over here. Teachers can almost be sued for false imprisonment for keeping a child on detention.
