on the battery says "Made in Korea Finished in China".

I'm in the UK on an O2 branded phone and have a K800i made in China, and the battery is made and finished in China. My old K750i was the same.

Every P series I've had was made in France. The very old high end ericsson phones before that were made in England which I used to like. I'd hope we can have a European built P1i and I'd be prepared to pay a premium for it, but my suspicion is that it will be made in the far east like the m600 is. I used to think I was one of the few people that looked at the origin label. It's nice to see that so many others care too. Maybe SE will read and take notes.
