It does have a slot for a SIM card. It's a GSM phone. How would it work without?

massive brilliant screen, unique "revolutionary" UI (OSX based).. lots of onboard storage.. (only a few phones can match this today), wifi and a pretty complete package as a cellphone... a few things are missing and it may not be for everyone but the potential is there...
