no. only w-models (walkman) who have Mega bass. BUT put the equlizer at "Valley shape" and you almost get the mega bass sound (very small different).

the best with k810 (and k800) is that you get realy good second hand price for them. (i got 280 euro for my ½ year old k800 when i sold it...thats freeking good (k810 is very popular in North Europe)...what i mean is that you can sell your k810i when (and if you want) k850i comes (sep/okt) and also get some good cash fot it).

thats what i gone do (for sure).

@sherry - If you are encountering really annoying problems with your N80 . . . then why KEEP it I've heard problems with this model way back . . . most of which is, YES, it hangs and does NOT send and receive SMS messages - real time though this was already remedied thru a software-upgrade (later version) . . .

If I were you, sell your N80 and get the K810i UNLESS, you have other celfone-model-options

@jojo i got the damn thing for 32000 bucks and i was getting 16000 when i wanted to sell it first..my dad would kill me!! now i have an excuse..like "DAd,i have used this thing for TEN MONTHS for crying out loud what else do u want?" Plus i dont have any probs with sms sending..the most irritating prob is the memory card one..its really irritating when the memory card goes capush! and the camera is on...the phone hangs and the moment of the shot is lost...thats waht i want to be sure about in the K810i..that the memory card does NOT cause any trouble,nor does it get corrupt easily...like in my 7.2MP Cybershot sony, the memory card gives me loads of trouble,sometimes showing valid pictures as invalid formats and hanging up

@QVGA Bro when is the K850 expected to be released in PK? Im actually waiting for the w960i ad if its around 30 grand im fine with it..cuz then i will sell my w550i too more cash....till i wait for the w960i, i need something new to play with..datz the point...datz y m going for the cheaper k810i..if i wanted a new long term phone i'd definitely go for the N95...

- Mate, the W960 is the BEST Sony Ericsson EVER in my opinion. That phone is a real beast. It has EVERYTHING you need . But as the topic goes to make choice between the N80 and the K810, I would suggest you the K810. After all it is not symbian phone, but that makes the thing IMO. Symbian phones are buggy and too complicated to use. The K810 has great sound, media player is also great. After all if it is missing the Mega Bass feature, you can set the equalizer to manual and make your own enjoyable settings of the sound . And one more thing... of all the phones in the market, I think that the Sony Ericssons like: W800, K750, W810, K800, K810 are the BEST phones for playing Java games . Plus not to mention the camera of the K810 and the great pictures it takes...

Thanx mate...im really thinking of getting it now...i know about the w960i but its not expected to come out until the end of the year in my country so i think im gonna go for the K810i for now...Thanx everyone...it will be a day or two before i can get the phone..I gotta throw a couple of tantrums and then i will get the phone...till then,i still await ur feedback...and hey,all u great people out there...a big thank u,especially to QVGA,Booker and Plankton(sorry!)...U can still drop by to say hi.. Lol

Hey hold on people...One last thing...The k810i has a joystick....SE joysticks have a history of going KABOOM....they get loose and break quite soon with regular use....is it the same with the K810i?

joystick has been fine on both my k810's so far, though sold one,was also perfect on my k800.... good luck with your decision....
