I'm sure there'll be Megabass, even the K750i (not a Walkman phone to say the least) has it

yes, k750i has megabass but K800i didn't beacuse it was cybershot brand and they wanted to separate from walkman brand, so I was so sure that K850 would't have it either, hope Im wrong.

So no megabass then, really sad about that, hoped they would add it like in the K750i. But then again, K750i was not cybershot phone. Maybe that's the reason.

I see, so there's not much difference between 384kbps and 3.6Mbps (that's more than 9 times faster)?

I see, so there's not much difference between 384kbps and 3.6Mbps (that's more than 9 times faster)?
on paper it seems like a huge diff but in real usage it really isn't...go experience it and then comment dont just use figures because most of it is marketing hype!i have a phone with 3g and another with hsdpa(network supports it for last few months already)not a diff to shout about

There is a hell of a difference b/w the two. You're making HSDPA sound like a hoax
